We are looking for 2-3 foreign consultants with manager potential to take on responsibility of further development of our teams in Beijing and Shanghai, including client management and client development. Experience with recruitment is preferred but not a must.
What do we/you do?
A recruitment consultant is the intermediary between organizations wishing to recruit (the client) and the individual seeking a career move (the candidate). The process has endless variations depending on such factors as the level of seniority, timescale and nature of the assignment. The role involves:
Assess and respond to the needs of each particular client or assignment;
Contribute to the attraction of candidates, interview and test candidates
Source suitable candidates and brief each on the opportunities offered by the client;
Manage the process through interview to offer stage and beyond.
Identify and develop client/business relationships in a competitive environment
Working as an integral part of a team across cities and countries focusing in the broader day-to-day issues of business development, effective communication, systems & procedures, training and contributing to financial success
Making maximum use of your time to achieve your individual and business potential through positive attitude, activity, persistence, drive and motivation

Learning opportunities
People skills and ability to read, understand and evaluate Chinese/other nationalities as candidates/managers
We teach you how to use - and not to use - recruitment and training tools such as Personal Profile Analysis (PPA) and Test for Training and Selection (TST). For these things we rely very much on our good cooperation with Thomas International China (www.thomasint.cn)
You will develop a very large network among managers of all nationalities - both clients and candidates.
Communication with many, different and new people every day that all have certain jobs and experience, take certain communication skills. Trustworthy communication is important to connect to both candidates and clients. We bring in external training consultants for some of these training sessions.
Qualifications
We are looking for consultant profiles of different nationalities with natural interest for working with people, helping people and connection people to people. It requires solid communication skills and the ability to multitask!
Solid people skills - and team player!
University degree
Work experience (1-10 years) - preferable from China or elsewhere in Asia.
Very strong English skills - maybe you speak some mandarin also.
Experience from recruitment is a plus - but not required. As long as you have a positive attitude and likes working with people in a fast moving environment!
